Naandi’s Youth Skills Training Program (delivered through Mahindra Pride Classroom) upskills final-year students of Government Engineering Colleges, Polytechnics, Arts & Science colleges, and ITIs across 20 states, bridging the gap between academics and industry needs and helping youth build employability skills that meet market demand.

Position Overview

We are looking for Placement Coordinators to drive employment and livelihood outcomes for students who complete the Youth Skills Training Program. This role is open across the following states — the base location determines which state(s) you would primarily support:

State(s)  – Base/Work Location:

  • Punjab / Haryana – Mohali
  • Uttar Pradesh – Lucknow
  • Maharashtra – Pune
  • Telangana – Hyderabad
Key Responsibilities

Placement process:

  • Bring employment, income-generating, and livelihood opportunities for students and place them after training completion
  • Connect, visit, and network with employers, entrepreneurs, and start-ups for job openings
  • Track employers, maintain relationship records, and keep a running placement sheet
  • Research and track job openings periodically; share information with class in-charges for placement mapping
  • Connect students to appropriate openings in discussion with the State Coordinator
  • Own and monitor placement calls, keeping the calling sheet updated and shared weekly
  • Arrange focused placement training for non-placed students with the State Coordinator
  • Organize Job Utsavs, bringing in employers with relevant vacancies and maintaining event data

Placement documentation:

  • Generate and submit placement leads on a weekly basis
  • Prepare and submit the monthly placement report by the 18th of every month
  • Maintain error-free placement data in coordination with class in-charges
  • Prepare quarterly and annual placement reports

Specific allied programs:

  • Own the ‘Coffee Meet with Employers’ program for every batch, including guest invitations and documentation
  • Identify and organize placement exposure visits, including permissions and formal correspondence with host organizations
Requirements
  • Any Graduate / Post Graduate
  • 2–5 years of experience in placements
  • Excellent communication and public relations skills
  • Proficiency in English and the local language of the respective state
